Ron Crosby

Ron is a lawyer turned biographer and historian. His explorations of New Zealand bush and backcountry areas led him to author eight history books, including The Forgotten Wars: Why the Musket Wars matter today and Kūpapa: The bitter legacy of Māori alliances with the crown. Ron’s interest in te ao Māori is reinforced by his whānau relationships arising from his wife Margy’s whakapapa to Te Rarawa and Te Aupōuri.
