2019 Programme

The Marlborough Book Festival is a chance to immerse yourself in the world of New Zealand literature. In 2019 we welcomed 16 acclaimed authors, eleven superb interviewers speaking at seven fantastic locations.

The 2019 event moved to the ASB Theatre Marlborough, which buzzed with festival vibes all weekend along with a bookshop set up in the foyer so guests could linger and discuss their festival favourites, and have their books signed by the authors.

We also had sessions at beautiful vineyard, winery and watery venues, with The Bell Tower at Dog Point, Spy Valley Wines cellar door, the Treehouse at Cloudy Bay, Hunter’s Wines restaurant, and the MV Odyssea in Queen Charlotte Sound. This year we introduced The Plant in Blenheim as well. .
