Grahame Sydney is one of New Zealand's most celebrated and loved artists, best known for his dramatic paintings of Central Otago, where he lives.
He is also an acclaimed photographer and writer, has published numerous books, and collaborated with writers such as Brian Turner, Vincent O'Sullivan and Owen Marshall.

The Living Room Session

Join one of New Zealand's most renowned artists for a special event at this year's festival. Grahame Sydney will speak about his early artistic efforts, his remarkable parents, the miraculous meeting that launched his career, his life in Central Otago, and the landscapes there that he's fought to save. There will be time for relaxed discussion and mingling during this intimate, extended session at The Bell Tower, while enjoying Dog Point hospitality.
