Christine Leunens
Christine Leunens is a Kiwi-Belgian writer who lives in Nelson. She came to writing via a modelling career in Paris, a Master’s degree at Harvard and a PhD from Victoria.
Her books Primordial Soup, Caging Skies and A Can of Sunshine, have been translated into more than 20 languages. In 2019, Caging Skies was adapted into the Academy Award-winning movie Jojo Rabbit.
